Private Instruction:
Adult, Teen, and Youth is offered 7 days a week.

General Instruction lessons: Intro/ Intermediate. As low as $25.00 and are available for students
with steady schedule. Enrollment can be completed in person or over the phone.

Class Enrollment options: All lessons are prepaid

One class $33 each
Four Classes  $30 each
Eight classes $28 each
Twelve classes $26 each
Sixteen classes $25 each

Class Policies: Classes are paid and scheduled in advance. All packages have a start date and end
date. Missed or skipped classes are not added to the end of a package or refunded. However, with
enough notice teacher permission a class may be rescheduled before then end of the enrollment
package.





Kids group Guitar class Part II


This 8 week class will cover topics such as note reading, scales, chords, and playing popular songs. Ages are from 8-12
yrs old and some playing experience is preferable. The textbook being used is the Mel Bay Guitar Method 1 and is
available for purchase from the School of Music. Tuition is $120 per 8 week semester. Meeting time is 2-2:50pm every
Friday starting March 30th 2012. New students can join up to the 3rd class.

Music Theory 101:

Date April 14- June 9th 2012
Time  10am-10:50am
Eight week course.

This course will cover topics from the terms and logic of music, timing, reading music through to more advanced
subjects such as inversions and voice  Beneficial for all musicians including those in AP and College music theory
courses.



Rock and Blues Workshop

Date July 9th -13th
Time  11am - 2pm

Materials fee (includes workbook): $20

This course will deal specifically with playing Guitar in the Rock / Blues style. Topics will include improvisation, theory,
Guitar specific idioms, and songs.


Jazz and Latin Workshop

Date August 6th - 10th
Time  11am - 2pm

This course will deal specifically with playing Jazz / Latin Guitar. Topics covered will include improvisation, chords /
scales / arpeggios, theory / Ear Training, and songs.

Adult Guitar and Childrens Guitar Group lessons through City of Rockville

The School of Music teaches lessons for the city of Rockville, Maryland; usually in six to eight week
intervals

Students who travel from Virginia and Baltimore:
90+ minute lessons once a month has proven the most successful amount.
